9 years ago was the happiest day of my life. I became a mom…although a single mom. One year ago, December 20th, was the second happiest day of my life, only I didn't know it at the time.

I met my son's birth father at Rays on the river after no contact with him since I was three months pregnant. I got there early, and was sitting in the lobby when he walked in. I looked up and my heart jumped into my throat. I hadn't spoken to him in 9 1/2 years and he was standing in front of me. I was so nervous I just jumped up and hugged him right there in your lobby.

We were taken to a beautiful table overlooking the river and all of the magic happened. Our server was amazing, our steaks were fabulous and the wine was delicious! It truly was magical! In October he met our son for the first time.

One year later, we came back to Ray's on the river to celebrate our reunion, and our 1 year dating anniversary. We have been together ever since. Christmas morning he proposed to me. We will be getting married on 6/7/13. Thank you Ray's on the river! We are finally getting our happy ending!
